Makerspaces are places where people come together to learn and practice hands-on skills such as computer use, photography, sewing, and much more. They are personal in that the user works on his or her own project. They offer classes to get started and improve skills. They also offer tools to try out and use. The Buchanan County Public Library offers space for Makers on the 1st Saturday of each month. Scheduled beginner classes start at 10am. Equipment check outs begin at 11am.
